You know, I thought they were in a bathroom the first time I saw it. Then I realized that they have their backs too close to the wall, so they can't be sitting on the edge of a bathtub ... so what the hell are they sitting on? Urinals?

I suppose they could've dragged a bunch of chairs into a bathroom for a weird photo-op, but that looks like it was taken with a camera phone.

I've pondered that photo for way too long.

I'm starting to think that someone just dragged a sink into the picture, just for the hell of it, because it makes no sense and it makes beautiful people look like the product of a Stephen Lynch song. *mourns the pictoral retardation of Carlos and Daniel*

Well, I mean, we all saw 'Jurassic Park'; "If you've gotta go, you've gotta go...".

Maybe it's a room in a crappy hostel. Carlos, Sam and Paul are on a narrow cot (though why would the coathooks be above the cot?), while Eric is on a chair (you can see the right armrest). Dan is on a crate or ... something.

Though I've been in Berlin hostels that were about US$15-20 a day for a solo room, and they had more ambience than that closet.

Looks like a cigarette to me.

In the above photos, especially in the latter one, Daniel looks pretty smashed. He honestly looks completely and utterly drunk off his ass, trying really hard to be cool and pick up some pretty girl. It makes me sad (in an "I'm really laughing right now" sort of way, of course).
