I think nerd chic is all the rage. And those frames aren't SO outrageous. They are definitely no where near as bad as Paul's "C'mere" glasses.

He seems like he is reeeeeally trying hard to be attentive and nice in this interview, ha. He doesn't have his usual flirty witty Daniel attitude going. Not that he isn't still wonderful.

I did love the RunDMC story as well, and the fact that he hasn't murdered anyone "yet".
Who will be his first victim? I'm thinking Carlos...

Wow... chill people. Yeah, it sucks when people use your photos without asking. It's happened to me before and people shouldn't do it. When you put your photos up on the internet, though, it often happens.

01) That picture was hotlinked various times, so people don't know anymore who took it.
02) If you want to prevent this kind of thing from happening, as Mirna said, put a watermark in your pictures.
03) You sounded rude.

well... "kate blogsworth" is the name of the blog, but there is a team of bloggers that update it. Anners is a friend of mine and i don't like ANYONE to call her asshole for anything...

I guess you use to call "asshole" to every person you are angry with, that's why you think it is "honest" and easy to call someone like that.

I agree with you in that part of someone taking your pics... but she didn't sell it or got profit for posting your pic.

Everything you put on internet and someone can copy is public property... or you only have pictures you took in your hard drive?

BTW, I think it's nice someone like your work... i have found lots of articles, myspaces or hi5 profiles using the pics i took in manifest... ones mentioning me, others no... even if i put the watermarks on them. That's how i knew about the blog, because she wrote a blog about daniel posting my pics and it was very fun to meet all the girls in that blog.

Sorry, but that is wrong. She took the picture, she owns the copyright. And even if she posted it here, that does not mean anybody can do this too without asking her.

Only because it seems to be common practise does not mean that's right.
Yeah, we all save tons of pictures here or somewhere on the internet.
But still they had to ask her, she found her pic by chance and said she does not allow it,
so they have to take it down.

yeah, much like the mp3 thread, just because it's common practice does not in fact, make it allright. i mean i don't care if anyone uses a picture i took, but not everyone feels the same way. and the mp3 thread constantly fills me with rage, so there.

Just a note that there are a lot of lurkers who come to this site, and a lot of the lurkers spend time in the photo threads. Don't assume that only frequent posters are seeing what you post here.

I think this whole thing has become overblown. What rose_mary posted is right. Posting your photos on the internet does NOT make them public property. But you do have to expect complications with your photos when you post them on the internet--especially when the photos are of tasty famous rock stars.

y'know, I was thinking about that, it might've been a lurker instead of a frequent poster.
I was trying to put blame here, but I was just saying "odds are".
So I'd like to make a suggestiong, how come this board doesn't have this thing where lurkers can't
see any of the links on this board? Y'know, like not let them see the pictures we posts or the links of ANYTHING unless they join in. It might help with some who only post here and feel it's private (in a sense, like in the photo slag thread), and it might also help with bringing new people to the mix here.

I should've known better than posting those pics here and that's my fault,
but honestly, I'm hoping that picture is taken OFF that site.

i don't think they can actually. if you're not logged in all you see are links. although yeah i guess the links are still there.

well yeah.
whenever i've lurked into other message boards and click on a link there
some thing pops up saying "you cannot go to this address. you are not logged in/registered."
or instead of the link showing up it just says "Register to view this link." and clicking on it
takes you to the registering page. We should have that here.
