the shape and height are all wrong for his face.

I think it happened as follows:
Daniel lost or fucked up one of his contact lenses, forgot his glasses home and had to use his back-up ones that got 10 years ago. hence the out of fashion frames. it happened to me once and it was horrible. at least he still looks sweet in them

But didn't someone say it's just the frames? No lenses? Sounds like it's for fashion.
