it's funny you're saying that, because when i saw the new frontpage, i immediately associated it with "weekend in the city", but more for the title than the artwork (i don't clearly remember it)

I like it, and I wonder who took it (there seem to be lots of photographers in the extended Interpol world these days). What does it mean to me? --that the wheels are starting to turn again, that the break is winding down and the pre-album prep is (maybe slowly at first) gearing up. Here we go, kiddies.

I'm kind of stunned at the new entry page.

I don't know what to expect and I don't want to be a fan that says, crap, it's not in red white and black.

But you know. I'm not a fan of the typeface style used, I feel it was too big on the page.
As always though I have faith in the boys and everyone that would or has been involved in their careers so.

Let it come. But please, let the album come soon, or at least a release date. I'm dying for a tour in Australia and I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Man, I dig it. I love city pictures taken from high up.
It sort of reminded me of The Streets' first album cover with the lit up apartment building.. sort of. I like the change from the solid colours.

Well, they could just keep repeating themselves, or they can go forward. It doesn't mean that their style is totally going to change, or that the old look is somehow no longer Interpol.

I loved the photo on the front page. I'm so excited knowing the guys are finally picking up speed with coming album. Actually the front page reminds me of the visual image I always get while listening to The New. Just play the song while looking at the picture, it just fits. This is so damn exciting!
