So I have the audio performance of Interpol performing at Paris, Elysée Montmartre in 2004 (see the uploading/sharing thread in "Live" section), and in Hands Away, about a minute in Sam crap's out on drums from illness and the show is delayed for a bit. Im guessing Paul went to check on Sam, and Daniel and Carlos started a little thing to keep the crowd entertained.

Its more than a minute long, and I was wondering if maybe in your opinions it could be part of a new song or just an impromtu riff? If I knew how to upload the short segment I would, if someone could tell me what to do, OR if the people that know what I'm talking about, give your opinions.

EDIT: http://rapidshare.co...w_Song.mp3.html
I hope that works

Sounds like a revised version of untitled. He is using reverse delay and is picking in the same manner. Sounds cool tho

Yeah, but interpol have been known to use very very similar chords in songs...

(Specialist + A Time To Be So Small)

But I guess it could just be a crowd pleaser <_<

Untitled huh? Haha you got to kind of laugh at that, Daniel and Carlos are on stage by themselves, don't know what to do, so Daniel starts playing Untitled while Carlos improvs something. Thanks for clarifications.

Poor sam :-(

What did he have? Was he like drunk/high (like Jeremiah Green from MM) or did he have pneumonia or something?

I always that that part of the show was just Dan messing around on the guitar with Untitled strings.... just something to fill the space whilst Sammy 'composed' himself... lol

Don't have to look so far as Modest Mouse to find drunken performers...

Is it commonplace for Jeremiah/sundry members of MM to be "drunk/high"? I'm gonna see them in december. Very exciting.
