Someone had also posted pictures of Paul when he looked to be about 12, but I don't have them, alas. I feel like they showed him camping or something??? I can't remember.

I just had a thought im on my dads laptop(and he dosent have the picture) because he wont let me use my laptop on dial-up, so when the boardband men come in a few days time I send it out from mine

or if someone can beat me to it then I be more than grateful

hey i clicked on your link and it took me to the topic, then i went to the link where the pics where from. It told a bit about Paul while he was in school. As Im english and have little knowledge about the American high school lifestyle is it possible if someone can tell me what a "moderator" as it says Paul was one!

What's the context? Was he on a debate team or something?

I love looking at pictures like these, because it reminds us (in case we needed reminding) that they are real people. Like everyone else, they looked kind of dorky when they were younger (but kind of cute, too). Like everyone else, they went to school and did school things (like acting in plays, playing sports, whatever).

And, apparently, Paul wore Birkenstocks... I knew it. :P

Well, and I'm reaching on this although I'm American, apparently in some high schools there are Model United Nations clubs or something, and I guess Paul kind of....ran meetings or something. As I said. I'm reaching...very far.

Yes, some schools have Model UNs.

Doesn't anyone remember the Simpsons episode in which the Model UN bus trip is ruined when they end up on a deserted island? It's the classic episode where Canada-representative Ralph "ated the purple berries."

Yea, it said he was a moderator. We didn't have a model UN when I was in high school, so the only stuff I know is from the Simpsons when they mocked Lord of the Flies...haha

Paul didn't go to an American high school, those yearbook photos are from his high school in Mexico.

Pardon my ignorance, I've never heard of Model UN until it was mentioned here, but is it a sort of country representaion program or... yeah? :ph34r:

Model UN is like an elaborate simulation, I think. I never did it myself, but I think students represent different countries.

Ah, all right. Because I've never in my life heard of it until I read that LiveJournal entry, and I've gone to many a school. I don't recall it saying what country he was a portraying. It's rather amusing actually, for some insane reason. :lol: Thanks for clearing that up for me tercat.
