I wish more people could see this as simply as the people who have replied to this post have.too many people bring meaningless factors that unnessessarily complicate things. For me its a simple issue with equality: If heteosexual couples are allowed to marry, so should homosexuals. We condemn all the unfair treatments we have in the past given to people based on their race,sex, or nationality;but here we are in 2005, repeating our mistakes after we claimed we have learned our lesson.
