Well, there are so many threads for good pictures that its about time for one devoted to bad pictures of our darlings in interpol, right? Its only fair that people so attractive should have a few atrocious photo moments.

Actually, I think this photo is kind of great. So intense!!! He is an awesome drummer.

You know, I thought they were in a bathroom the first time I saw it. Then I realized that they have their backs too close to the wall, so they can't be sitting on the edge of a bathtub ... so what the hell are they sitting on? Urinals? :D

I suppose they could've dragged a bunch of chairs into a bathroom for a weird photo-op, but that looks like it was taken with a camera phone.

I've pondered that photo for way too long.

Maybe it's a room in a crappy hostel. Carlos, Sam and Paul are on a narrow cot (though why would the coathooks be above the cot?), while Eric is on a chair (you can see the right armrest). Dan is on a crate or ... something.

Though I've been in Berlin hostels that were about US$15-20 a day for a solo room, and they had more ambience than that closet.
