I checked the Kurt Vile disk - I'm confirming that it's also written on the CD so I'd venture to say that it's a Matador thing. :)

Yeah, okay. I checked another Matador record I have (Solex, from 1999), and it's on there. It's not obvious on every Matador record (I don't see it on my Antics vinyl, though perhaps I just missed it), but I'd say it's Matador.
