Anyways, I've always thought he was a classless self-entitled jerk. So there.
DK+PB+SF = all good in my book.
I agree. He was my least favourite member. Interpol seem a lot happier now. Paul appears looser on stage and gets into it more. I will say "Happy Birthday!" though.

Well, I don't mind Carlos. He had good stage performance. Even if his personality wasn't good at times, at least, he was honest. There are musicians worse than he was.
Happy Birthday, Carlos.

I'm not saying they should find someone like Carlos again -- either in looks or personality -- but I don't know if the new 3-piece Interpol combo meal really satisfies. They're getting old, sedate, a bit more peaceful. It feels like they are planning things out more, exploring sonically, but it all gets boring eventually for all the positives driving in a "write good music" mode.

I don't think they were ever supposed to be, though perhaps the guys in the band left that a bit ambiguous so fans wouldn't disrespect them or decide it was a reason not to come to shows. I think Pajo and Brad were always friends and good musicians who were helping out for the tour. Just my impression...

In every performance and photo I've seen he's worn a suit. Pajo came pretty close to that too. Interpol definitely have a dress code (although they deny it). It's either that or the temp players feel it's their chance to be part of that aesthetic so they rise (and dress) to the occasion.

Paul obviously didn't get that memo for this past tour.

Or iron it.

Paul dresses more casually when he's doing shows for Julian Plenti. With Interpol, he does dress casually on some occasions, like that adidas track jacket he sometimes wears at some festivals.

flannel, don't forget the flannel, because Paul sure didn't on this past tour (see above)
By my count he only wore a full suit maybe 3-4 times, out of nearly 200 shows. Maybe a tie and a vest a few more times. That's a bad ratio for Interpol.
