Bogota, Colombia (NTN24) - The American indie rock and post punk revival band from New York ends their world tour in Colombia’s capital. Daniel Kessler, Interpol’s guitar performer and one of the creators of the band, talks to NTN24 news about how they got started.

Interpol´s latest tour includes Latin American countries with Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Mexico in its list, and Europe with Spain and Greece.

The band released its fourth, self-title album last year with the record peaking at number one on the billboard independent albums chart.

After a Certifies Gold in the United Kingdom and selling over 2 million albums worldwide, the New York University classmate’s band, Interpol continues surprising fans around the world.

Great interview. 2 M album sounds right by the numbers I dug up.


Also, that reporters accent is... Unique. I've never heard one like it in my life. Sounds like a BBC type of enunciation with some kind of hot potato in her mouth. (sorry, cruel I know)

Hahaha :lol: I wonder how the interviewer got the job. Her accent is just bad. :lol:

Since when is Greece considered a Latin American country? Portugal is probably what they meant.

Yah! 2 million is pretty great.

And, the women's voice speaking in the video is hilarious.
