Are there any band shots with original drummer Greg Drudy? I've never seen a single one!

Why did he leave? I don't think the band has ever spoken about the guy.

Daniel has mentioned in past interviews that Drudy left to pursue his own record label and music. There were no hard feelings and the band was supportive of his choice.

Kinda like what they said all last year about the departure of Carlos. ;)

As I rememeber, Greg was more of a metal drummer anyway. He did a fantastic job with the FUKD.I.D EP

I remember reading he left because he was seen as the weak-link the band! I wish I could remember where I had read that, maybe somebody else can back me up. I promise I'm not just digging that out of nowhere!

I forget the name of the style that Drudy was (is?) into, but it was more hardcore... I wouldn't say metal. The closest thing Interpol ever did to that style would be "5." And really that's not much like it.

[about Paul] "The entire time I was in the band, I didn't even have his phone number", says ex-drummer Drudy. "Even though I practiced with him three times a week for almost two years, on a personal level, I didn't really know him"

Well I think at this point sure ;). There are plenty of articles where they all keep saying they were just colleagues but not friends at the beginning
