Oh, fucking great. :angry: And I was up around that time. <_< Hopefully, it'll pop up on youtube or something. Ironically, I DVR'd it the first time they were on and I almost never watch it because Paul's voice is painful to listen to. I loved that a Lights performance was on tv, but his voice sounds like it was just run over by a truck. Would have liked to have seen NARC, anyway :(

Paul still sound like he has one hell of a head cold and at some points you can't even make out the figures onstage :huh: Need to lighten the resolution, production guys! They do it for sporting events all the time. And songs like NARC work much better in an enclosed space, not outside. Though, reverb works like a motherfucker in an amphitheatre's cavern.

Evil? Really? Now, I would never not love to see a performance of Evil. But this 2011, right? Not '04-05? I know they've already shown Barricade, Lights and SW. Here was the setlist:

They could have shown Memory Serves, Try it on or Success. I would nominate the latter. That rocks very well live and it's sort of upbeat. If they are trying to drum up interest in s/t, then showing Evil just reinforces all that crap the critics spew about them. And it was 2 am, for God's sake, show a newer song.
And even though I always thought he was a tool, I'm buying Carson as a fan. "Kings of the indie rock scene" Nice :D
We need to start checking these off, if they're going to keep showing this concert like a slow release IV drip.
