Hey youse,
We did a show in Mexico this weekend, and it was incredible.
Many many fans turned up and a raucous time was had by all.
Check out this vid of the crowd that I shot as we left the stage.
It’s a short clip, but pretty sweet.
Many thanks and muchas gracias to everyone who helped make
it a wonderful evening.
P

Yep. And I think that's exactly what this is all about. Not complaining one bit. I'm more than happy to be on the receiving end.

I don't mind them posting. I just hope they don't end up replying to people individually. I just get annoyed when people try to fish for replies.
Like tercat said I doubt they will end up doing this. The twitter account has been around for a while but it only became active lately. I also noticed much more involvement on Facebook and MySpace. I know the girl that is (was) in charge of those was complaining about how bad the communication with Capital was etc so I guess once again we should thank Matador for all this new involvement. Along with Paul, Sam and Daniel of course

I love Dave's Twitter, too! Those hotel view shots from around the world are always fun to see because they're so varied. That's the kind of stuff I like getting from the people I follow on Twitter, just enough to give you some cool insights into what they're doing but not overkill.

That seems to have been the one used to tweet until this leg of the tour.

Exactly. Some feedback with their fans is totally harmless. Besides, it adds some flexibility in their way to interact with their fanbase, specially when they have such a rigid and cold website. I mean, it's not one of the sites you enjoy browsing. It always seemed to me that they had a web 'cause they had to and not because they wanted to. So now any new approach is welcome.
