Does anyone know what Paul was saying to someone in the GA crowd right below him....
He said for them to relax. They were just crazy the whole time. Security had to go stop them several times from pushing (I think). Even before they came on, some girl was so drunk she peed on herself. I felt bad for her :(

I got it! My internet has been so crappy lately, so it might take a while to upload on youtube.
Here are some pictures in the meantime.

've never been to a show in that city where someone in the crowd wasn't trying to start something. And I really do mean never. On to San Diego!

Yeah, he was really loving the crowd. I think that might have been the loudest concert I've gone to, in terms for audience loudness.

You got up front, nice! But what happened to being on the left side? haha. Did you have a good time?
It looks like Safe Without may make its live debut sometime during this tour...

By the time I got in, everyone had taken up the left side. The only place that was left for the barricade was on the right, in front of the security guard. Kinda shitty what they did with letting people in from the bar first; was kinda pointless of me being in line so early, I think I was 15th in line. Oh well, I had a great time! Definitely one of the best shows :)
Rest My Chemistry- the only video youtube has managed to process for me <_<
MEMORY SERVES!! and Leif Erikson. I have a shitty camera, so apologies for the sound quality.

That kind of sucks, but not that bad to get you off the barricade! And I hope it wasn't raining while you were waiting in line!
I bet it was one of the best shows, you got TYOAC and Leif!

Thanks! What did you think of the song live? It looks like the best Interpol track on the set so far. I can't wait to see it!

I don't know, I think it sounded a bit weird at time. I think they just need to practice it a few more times. Definitely a highlight though. I wonder if they'll ever play Alway Malaise

Yeah, it looks like it. It sounds like Paul isn't holding the high notes at the end of the song long enough, which is kind of shame because I think it's one of the fine moments of the song! But it's okay, it's new! I just hope he shapes up for it. :P

I've seen the boys, back in 07 (?) at the Forum and again at the Weenie Roast.
This show was spectacular, because they played Narc, Hands Away and Leif Erikson!
Lights, Summer Well and NYC were also highlights. There were various timing miscues, couldn't hear Paul that well, but the guitars sounded great.
Nice venue, sister and I got there around 8:30, placed was PACKED. Drove all the way from Long Beach area, made it a memorable night with the lightning and rain. 9/10

I thought it really sucked when Paul introduced Dave and there were some loud boos along with a few applause. Hey, as much as I miss seeing Carlos perform on stage, the boos pissed me off. Pajo is doing an incredible job and although we were all the way on Daniel's side, I didn't get to really see much of him as it was very foggy. He nailed all of the songs and especially shined on TYOAC, NEJ and Leif.
Waited after the show for the guys to come out. After about 45 min, Pajo came out briefly and seemed very shy. I wish I could have told him how much we enjoyed his playing. A few camera flashes and he darted back inside after putting some things on the bus. About 1.5 hr later, Daniel came out. Such the gentleman, and so patient, then Sam..always the most talkative and makes you feel like he's known you forever. I asked him how he was enjoying being a new Daddy and his face just beamed as he said he's loving it, when he can get the time to be with her. Paul eventually came out and posed for lots of photos with people. He seemed a little more reserved than usual. He was about to go and he signed the set list for my daughter and he remembered her from 2005 but he had the funniest look on his face and said "you were MUCH younger the last time I saw you!" I'm not sure she took it that well. We didn't leave until 12:45 for the ride back to San Diego. Long day, and there really isn't another band I'd do that for. I'm getting too old for this. :(

Nice review. I'm with you on "Lights." It kills live. It stinks to hear there was any negativity toward DP. What's wrong with people? It's not his fault Carlos wanted out. He's a great guy and he's performing admirably. Pretty amazing that Paul remembered your daughter from 5 years ago! My turn in 15 days. :D

I know...I truly felt bad and couldn't stop thinking about it, even today. Have fun at your turn! We are seeing them again tomorrow. I don't know if I would have been able to repeat tomorrow without a day of rest. :D

Yeah, that is a shame that some people booed Dave. I don't understand that shit. Glad you enjoyed the show! And that's crazy that Paul remembered your daughter from that long ago. She must have felt special :)
