Motherfuckin' Return of the Mack. Whenever I make mix cds for car rides or trips I always throw this song in the mix no matter what else in on there.
Alice in Chains'esque rock that was and still is horrible. Second Coming, more like let's hope we don't get a third coming am i right?
Apparently you can only post two videos at a time. Lame.

My first foray into the world of trip-hop. I literally wore this cd out and had to buy it again. I also used to have a giant crush on that chick in the video. Fuck it, I still do.
Ha, this song will burrow into your brain and stay there for the rest of your life and pop up at the weirdest times.

This year I'm seeing him at the Torhout Werchter Classic festival (Simple Minds also play there, another favorite band from my youth).
I still like some of his songs like this one, the solo!!
That's from his famous Reckless album. After that CD he released 'Into The Fire', which is also a pretty good album. 'Native Song' is on it and I still like it very much. Again that solo at the end! Keith Scott is a great guitarist. BA is also one of the artists I think is in the non-asshole category ;)

I HATE them now, but I know at some point I liked them. Ewwww
Glad to get that off my chest.
Lol! Well, i can't laugh too much cause I was probably approaching 30 when this came out and was able to despise it thoroughly, maybe the teens felt differently. ;)

Stella - you know, that is a very interesting response.
I reckon, for the most part, I am faithful and consistent with previous loves.
This says more of my narrow taste than anything else and as such should be seen as a negative in my musical appreciation.
Case in point... I still agonise over some tracks I have on cassette tape (noise reduction, Dolby you know, :-) ) that I am trying to find on some sort of more permanent media. (eg today Gerry and the Holograms - Manchester band - whose life span was less than that of a Mayfly in a sewer).

How on earth is 6 Underground embarressing?
Fantastic record, infact the whole of that Sneaker Pimps album is.

I had older brothers who guided me down a very cool path of music. Granted, they were mainly into classic rock, but some of my first musical loves came from them. I shudder at some 9-10 year olds' taste these days. I was a Doors / Kinks /Stones etc. fan at 9.
I did like a lot of industrial in the early 90's, which I find a tad laughable today, but still kinda cool, so again N/A. :P

as much as before, but they'll always remind me of my pre teen years. I would have been going to their summer tour if it hadn't been postponed. *sniff*

I wore my The Crow soundtrack to the ground. The jewel case is smashed up, and I think I have an old VHS laying around.
Dunno, the GnR thing was my response to the Metallica overload.
OK here's some embarrassing tunes I loved when I was 13-14. Still like them today :)
I had a wicked pair of white bell bottomed pants that I would kill to get back. Looked wicked with my combat boots.
With matching biker shorts and fluorescent fleece top.

Nice tunes :)
The man who produced and co-wrote 'Pump Up The Jam' is a Belgian... philosopher ;)
After this hit he could have gone to America and made a lot of money but he chose to do other things.
For example he's written a book about a painting, the "Adoration of the Lamb", the Ghent altarpiece by Jan Van Eyck, the 15th century painter. He's planning a book about 'the psychopathological aspect of power'. He still produces other bands.
I heard this again today and some might say I should be embarrased that I like it :D (but I think it's actually a good dance song)
