As thats the most common complaint we've been receiving lately, I thought it'd be fair to open a thread about it to let you know that unfortunately NOBODY CAN UPLOAD A PROFILE PICTURE at the moment. Its not only a few members issue, its a general problem.It doesnt matter if the picture you try to upload meet the required specifications. As you all know a few months ago we performed a board upgrade to the latest Invision Power version. The profile picture in Facebook-MySpace style is a new feature that for some reasons doesnt seem to work. We tried to edit the settings a few times but unsuccessfully. We suspect its a problem with the whole new IP version that for the moment we are not able to fix. We havent given up yet, but please for the time being bear with us and accept our apologies for the inconvenience

I've seen some people who joined the board later than I who have profile photos. I'm still not able to successfully upload a profile photo. Why can't I add a photo?

Are you talking about a profile photo or an avatar? I don't think anyone can upload a profile photo right now, but you should be able to upload an avatar.

Well, Mishkakiller has a photo. She joined in April. I joined in February.

Unless its an avatar, in which case I'm sorry. I'm pretty computer stupid, and I'm not too sure I know the difference between a profile photo and an avatar. -_-

Yeah, she has an avatar photo. If you're having trouble uploading an avatar, send me a message and we'll try to figure it out.

I'm afraid we cant still upload profile pictures, but you should be able to upload your avatar. if not, just PM me for instructions

Thanks, having same issue so at least i know it's not just me ;)
