I always keep mine, in various sizes just in case. I only throw out when they're damaged. Actually I recycle them as rags.
There's hope! You can always exercise. That reminds me to lift weights, work on resistance, do cardio, and stop eating a lot of bread!

Eating habits may need work. I don't think I eat as much as a "normal" person does.
My weight has always been a roller coaster ride: one day I fit in pair of pants, the other week I don't.

Do you have thyroid problems? I'm no doctor though  but that could be an explanation. Also you could ask some advice from a dietician for your eating habits.
Good luck Rosebud
Two things are making my day a sad one so far:
not having any news from someone I love
received a phone call from my Irish friend who was suspicious about the death of his 13 year old little terrier dog and he was right to be suspicious; his dog was poisoned by 'some mindless moron' (his words)
I am heartboken :(

Some humans are cruel, heartless bastards. Hurting animals is not okay in my book.

Not that I'm aware of. I've always just been good at keeping weight on. :( I lounge around for a weekend and I gain like 5 pounds.
Sucks about the pup. I've known people who've suspected the same thing. Some real bastards out there.
What made my day shit today?
I asked a coworker about guidelines she manages. She shot back "why don't you look it up, its your job to know it?"
Holy fucking shit! Brought a little tear to my eye too. I'm not good with confrontation. I work across the hall from this bitch too.

I can't believe that someone as educated as him would make such an error. I think he merely meant the Nazi death camps located in occupied Poland during WWII. I think perhaps it was a cultural/language disconnect that caused the snafu.

Of course, it's just saying 'nazis made the most deadly camps in Poland' that can only be this. No need to overreact on this. Honestly, It's Barack!

Easy for the rest of the world to point the finger and say "oh - you Poles are just over-reacting". The scars are deep over here and with good reason. Can we all not just be a bit more sensitive to that? Would it kill anyone to 'get it right'?

Thank you! I'm committed to putting a stop to it really.
Sorry, about the poison ivy. Did it basically sting like crazy?

This year's event will be hosted at:
Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, New York, NY 10036
Special discount rates for attendees of TSI Summit: $379 single, $409 triple, $449 quad. Double rates are not available, all rooms have a king bed with pull-out couch.
No double rate? If all rooms have a king & pull-out couch, wouldn't that accommodate 2 people? And why would I play $449 if you can get the same room for $379. I've got to be missing something, but I'm stumped. So was the reservation clerk.
I booked a single and, hopefully, one of us won't be sleeping on the floor.

I've been suffering as well this week - there must be 'something going around' as me mum used to say. |(Although that only stands firm in an area of diameter not exceeding 1 mile).
My preferred route to normality involves an onion sandwich, 4 big scoops of 'Night Nurse' (A UK PMOL preparation - tastes disgusting), a very hot water bottle, bed at 1900hrs, wrap up in dressing gown or other warm nightly attire and sweat the little sods out overnight. Short sharp shock -- works every time.
(PS - A good teeth brush and shower in the morning is advised)

InterpolMOD - Calamine lotion and benadryl, stat. That stuff sucks the joy out of everything.
ThenGo, that's the sort of thing that makes me call the hotel directly and ask for clarifications!
TerCat, S.U., yup, must be a bug. I've been feeling like crap all week and last night took the cake with stomach flu like symptoms. I need to feel better.
What shittens my day:
-Pedant assholes.
If you have a point to make, JUST FUCKING SAY IT instead of laying a FUCKING TRAP to make your stupid point, asshole. You made me waste 8 hours of my work day for your STUPID lessons. This ain't school, asshole.

Etoile - I shamefully admit played that game once, a few years ago, mind - I thought it was the best tactic for that moment, found out to my cost that it just does not work out in the long run. I don't do it anymore, promise!
Sadly, in, in my allegedly wonderful National Health Service the Very Senior Managers are almost trained to do it, I swear.
InterpolMod1 - I'm sure there's a song out there that says the same thing...roughly...I think it goes
"Poison I-veh - eh-eh-eh Poy-son I-veh eh-eh-eh It shits my day up" - to a sort of ska-back beat.

S'alright, SU. It just kills me when we're already overloaded and get thrown last minute nonesense. This person's role is to facilitate us and remove potential pitfalls - maybe not by saying it outright but explaining that there are possible changes in these key areas while giving us the time to work out the problem. Sadly, it's just a whole lot of empty last minute work. This person is essentially a shitty manager. That's all.
