Times like these I wish I were filthy rich, so I wouldn't have to worry constantly. <_<

Given todays financial situation I could completely agree with this, it would be a total comfort not to have to worry about money, but the thing that puts me off is the problems that would come with it; more specifically problems that you have no experience in dealing with if you have not come from wealth in the first place. I think the worry would remain its just its cause that would change  (my 2 cents)

Been watching the Levenson Inquiry and the media has been getting its ass kicked repeatedly over past few days, what has been coming out is disgusting, the tactics that have been used are deplorable and down right vicious. They say it is man's ability to be creative that separates us from animals ~ however is this the best way to explore that creativity to its full???

JK Rowlings 5 year old had a letter placed in her SCHOOLBAG from one of these creeps to get to her mum  Can only hope that by the end of the inquiry fundamental changes are made to how journalists, more specifically with tabloids get their info and when they cross the line are held to a higher standard for the safety and privacy of everyone

It's just that being poor sucks. I guess you can say I'm not part of the 1%.

Feeling so down and miserable now.

=/ Money is not everything but it sure does help. I remember when times were so thin that we'd eat campbells soup with rice as meals. We'd just have to make do with not a whole lot but we made it anyways.

Due to working outdoors I always seem to get a right, fucken terrible itch going on in my lower legs due to the change in weather.

I've found myself 'emergency moisturising' my legs much to the mirth and piss-taking of my colleagues.

It really does shite on my day. It's like having 'crabs' on your legs.

It always sucks being single during the holidays. The loneliness can be crippling. :( And facing living alone in the new year for the first time is not helping.

^ Aww. Round up some single people and have a party. Mingle and get to know more people.

For New Year's Eve, I'm going to cook, bake, eat and drink.

Next time, bribe your sister!

As for me, tomorrow I'm going to a memorial service for a fallen friend. He was elderly and volunteered with me at the hospital. I wouldn't say we were close, but my interactions with him were all positive and he was a real sweetheart. He will be missed and I may just cry tomorrow.

As bad as it sounds I just noticed how I know some people better but won't bother going to their services, but this one of someone I barely knew has affected me more. I wonder why...

Our relationship with death is rather complicated, but it's good of you to honor him. That's the wonderful thing about life, is that everyone has many facets, some loved, some loathed. You got to know someone just enough to love but not enough to hate. There's something magical about that delta.

Well I don't know where to start but this day is a burden for me. :(
First my Dad is in hospital again to undergo another operation tomorrow and I'm worried like hell.
Then my holidays are over.
Also today is election day where I live, first round of presidential elections, and all the candidates are a bunch of useless clowns.
I hate some cellphones companies too.
But like the Monty Python would go, always look on the bright side of life! Whistle whistle whistle whistle

Thank you sfive matt_19 LolaE Taylor for your good wishes Merci :)
My Dad's surgery went well. He is in intensive care so I can't visit him, I'll see him on Thursday now, but he is fine.
I feel better and relieved in a way but it's not always easy to put things into perspective.
Thanks again Merci beaucoup :D
