Sick babies. Jesus, there's something fundamentally wrong with life. Seeing a 5 week old baby have epileptic seizures is the most heart breaking sight in the world. And being completely helpless about it too.

Oh, that's so sad. Sometimes life is so unfair. A woman that takes my spin class lost her baby. She was scheduled for a c-section and they think it died about 4 hours before. She exercised and felt great up until the very end. In fact, she got up the morning of the c-section appointment, feeling great and headed to the hospital, still feeling the baby moving. Then something went horribly wrong. I am heartbroken for her.

Again, life is sometimes very unfair.

I can't even fathom that. She must be completely devastated. Again, I concur, life isn't fair.

Thanks Sfive. Her epilepsy seems controled with the meds. But now we need to figure out why she randomly stops breathing....

Etoile, I take it she's on a monitor? I can't imagine how scary this is for parents. How do you ever relax?

She's on an EEG monitor and they are trying various meds. They will only unhook her after she gets 48hours without any seizure activity.

The parents are just completely freak out. And for myself, I deliberately am trying to detach myself from the situation.

@Loves_TOTBL - :( boo!

Obnoxious people.

Do they think everyone cares what they're saying?
Or do they just not think at all?

Hot weather. Yesterday night was noisy and smoky as hell. People in the 'hood were setting off illegal fireworks.

I don't know why seeing my ex get engaged is giving me such a downer.

Technically I broke up with him, technically I would probably have said no since I would think we were too young to get married...

And yet seeing them so happy together....

...And yet another ex got engaged over this past fourth of july weekend. It wasn't such a downer as the one above though. But still, there is something that makes you wonder "what if..." and "that could have been me!" Oh well. For some reason or another it didn't work out. Maybe one day I'll get my shot. Maybe.

When it seems like my older sister is gonna wise up and divorce that idiot, she convinces herself she needs to stay with him. I just think it's because she doesn't want to go through that process. But isn't the goal more fulfilling? I feel horrible that she's choosing to waste more of her life with that guy instead of going through with something that might be very emotionally draining, but would reap more rewards for both her and her kids. He's such a parasite, I swear...

Well, today some God-fearing nutter, in the shadow of Yorkminster, was handing out leaflets entitled: TEN REASON WHY THE WORLD WILL END SOON.

As I said the guy was a fucking nutter. Apparently God is fucked off that none of us are following the Ten Commandments. He's fucking livid and if we don't get our shit together, come judgement day, then we're gonna get destroyed. But hey, wait, there's fucking hope if we repent, believe, and get ourselves baptised but not via the usual conventional churches, mosques or synagogues. Nah, we'll get a reprieve only if we join GOD'S REMNANT CHURCH. It did freak me out that reason number 10 was the anti-christ will show himself in the guise of a Rammstein covers-band.

The world is one fucked-up place. I'm sure God must be exasperated that so many fucking bampots have distorted, twisted and co-opted his message. That is if he hasn't fucked off already and left us to expedite armageddon ourselves.

haha.. its astounding how many idiots there are in the world, no? amazing we haven't destroyed ourselves already, and most of the bs is in the name of "god" who has nothing to do with any of this shit. He has serious bad representation. Any religious segregated organization takes the focus off what matters and makes it about money and cult like dedication.. hardly what jesus himself was about. All these wars are centered around this and its just super sad.

Alright Shtel?

I felt like standing by the cunt, handing out leaflets with the lyrics to Dylan's "With God On Our Side". Its not that but one of my boys is at an impressionable age where he believes apocalypse/armageddon is just around the corner and if hears or sees a Cuntybollocks like this dishing shit out it fucking frightens him. I feel like following one of these cunts home, see where he lives, chap his door dressed like Jesus, and say' "look mate, my dad's got a hangover so gonnae stop annoying him by peddling shite?"

Times like these I wish I were filthy rich, so I wouldn't have to worry constantly. <_<
