lacma1987, I have been on a huge MM kick recently. I've been obsessed with Lonesome Crowded West and This is a Long Drive... Two AMAZING albums. Listening to them, I feel like it'sd the 90s' again.
Otherwise, I don't know about top 5, but I have been listening to:
Afterlives by The Unwinding Hours.
Confess by Twin Shadow.
Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea by PJ Harvey.
Well, that's technically 5. Anyway, I feel like those 5 stand out as ones I've been listening too. Not necessarily the best, just listening to.

:) very glad to hear that. I wish I could erase my memory, and find out again about Lonesome Crowded West. It really is something special. I noticed that MM songs are fresh even after 50 or 100 listenings in short period, which is astonishing, as if they have like some kind of secret ingredient. I cant say how much I love them.
These albums that you've recomended are excellent, seems we have similar tastes ;)
(Try with the Built to Spill album Keep it Like a Secret, it's the closest to LCW that I've came across)
Sorry for bad English :)
