New Music/Fall US Tour

Greeting from the sultry South....
Magnetic Morning will be hitting the studio in Athens, Ga, during the summer months to record a batch of new tracks with Andy LeMaster, (Now It's Overhead, Bright Eyes) deluxe tape-op, and Jimmy LeValle (The Album Leaf) striking the Ivory. A full US tour will commence in October '08. Some of the cities included are....

October 15 - Athens, Ga. @ Caledonia Lounge (Capacity: 200)
October 16 - Chapel Hill,NC @ Local 506
October 17 - Washington, D.C. @ Rock and Roll Hotel (Capacity: 400)
October 18 - Philadelphia, Pa. @ Johnny Brenda's (Capacity: 250)
October 20 - Allston, Mass. @ Great Scott (Capacity: 250)
October 21 - Brooklyn, N.Y. @ Southpaw (Capacity: 450)
October 23 - Toronto, ON @ The Horseshoe Tavern (Capacity: 350)
October 24 - Cleveland, Ohio @ Grog Shop (Capacity: 200-500)
October 25 - Milwaukee, Wisc. @ The Cactus Club (Capacity: 200)
October 26 - Chicago, Ill. @ Empty Bottle (Capacity: 400)
October 27 Minneapolis, MN @ 7th Street Entry
October 30 - Seattle, Wa. @ Chop Suey (Capacity: 550)
October 31 - Portland, OR @ Doug Fir Lounge
November 2 - San Francisco, Calif. @ The Independent (Capacity: 500)
November 3 - Los Angeles, Calif. @ The Roxy (Capacity: 250)
November 4 - San Diego, Calif. @ The Casbah (Capacity: 200+)
November 5 - Phoenix, AZ @ The Rhythm Room
November 7 - Dallas, Texas @ House of Blues, The Pontiac Room (Capacity: 300-425)
November 8 - Austin, Texas @ Waterloo Park (Capacity: 400)

I'm going to go to NYC at some point before Xmas anyway but that 21st October date doesnt suit me very well...damn it!!

however, yesterday on my inbound plane I got hooked up by a guy that was at the Ferrara gig and as he knows one of the roadies he had a chat with Sam in the afternoon, and apparently Magnetic Morning are going to tour the UK early next year as well. nothing official but definitely something we can hope and I'd say pray for
