Sam says OLTA was a creative turning point for the band,
my question is:
Do you think Interpol will write music similar to TOTBL or Antics, or music that derives from OLTA?
any thoughts??

On OLTA the classical music touches are OK (here and there), but the main song must be good to start with. I have a tendency to lean toward darker, sadder, or even angry songs (minor chords). Just like Stella216, I think more songs w/good beats would be great, but I had said this before: The rhythm section was lacking on OLTA (calling you out, Carlos and Sam!), I hope the bass and drums are more prominent on the next album.
But I've never been one to just run out and buy anything as soon as it comes out. I have to read reviews, talk to people, listen to samples, sniff it, fondle it, ponder it overnight. Then maybe the next day I'll decide it's worth paying for.
