Thank you for re-upping the Brownies concerts. The January recordings are very interesting... Roland sounds haunting.

And I've just realized i have three versions of Cubed/Mascara. I have the acoustic version, the Brownies (2000/09/23) Version and a version i downloaded off the "love will get you down" fan site ages ago.

Does anyone know the date of the show the latter was recorded?

Think it's 2000/Dec/06, there was also a recording of Specialist from that gig.

Its definitely not a 2005 show, I'd say its from a few months after the OLTA tour kicked off. It could be around end of Summer, Autumn 2007.

Damn you are right. I only had a look at the first part of it and judged from Pauls hair...then its definitely more in the middle of the Antics tour than the end as Paul was still quite slim in this video if you know what I mean. I apologise for getting things confused :blush:

Is true,i watched the video again and is in the Sports Palace,unfortunately I could not go that date,but Ari and Flower of Evil do so maybe they remember that day.

I thought I had the 2000 recording of the Brownies gig but listening to it now obviously not. Straight away it sounds so different. "Untitled" is very different to what it ended up being on TOTBL. All the songs sound unrehearsed and in their primitive state. To be honest I actually like how they sound. It's personal and intimate. I can imagine being at the gig in a small, dark room with them in their younger days.

Definately it's Sports Palace, México City, Sept. 22nd, 2005. I recall that by that time everybody was saying that the concert was going to be filmed, but nothing happened, and no one said anything about it again; judging by the quality of this one, I think in fact it was.

Wrecking Ball was never played. Who do you think was only played once in Dallas at the end of Sept 2007. As far as I know there are no recordings of that night and as cuppajoe said there is only a video of the soundchecking in Atlanta a few days before on youtube
