I love it when this board is active! I just found the video of the full KCRW live in studio performance from the Turn On The Bright Lights era on youtube. If memory serves (pun intended) this was recorded in 2002 but was originally aired in 2003. I think this is the first time the entire performance has been available on youtube. It is GREAT.

part one (NYC, Roland, Specialist)

part two (Interview with the band)

part three (Say Hello To The Angels, The New, Obstacle 2)

Actually that's my new youtube channel.
Thanks for posting jsundheim. Oh and i'm sure this studio performance was recorded in 2003. The 2002 is a different one.

I haven't posted/mention the videos yet because i was waiting to see if youtube would take or not the channel down for copyright infringement or something like that (yeah they did that to my last channel unfortunately). I hope this one will last longer. ;)

InterpolLives is sorta a tribute to the band, i'll try to post all my collection of live shows (mostly audio) and other related stuff that i have that it's not on youtube.

If anyone from the board is interested, just subscribe and you will be aware when i upload new stuff (it will depend on my free time). :D

This is one isn't much for sound quality, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to post it here. If anything, it's kinda interesting for documenting how Stella has changed over time. And additional performances of Precipitate and 5 are always nice.

Interpol - 5/20/00

Oh, and thanks for posting those awesome videos, pqsm! It tough to find videos of that era with sound quality like that.

EDIT: I just noticed this was at the Mercury Lounge, so I'm pretty sure this is the performance that comes with the Deluxe version of TOTBL. My copy hasn't come yet so I didn't notice. At least those who didn't order the Deluxe version get to see a version with crappy sound quality now haha. And sorry if this wasn't allowed to be posted here.

2003 is probably my favorite year for Interpol live performances. It's when Paul finally comes out of his shell a little bit and seems to be enjoying himself onstage. The vocals are a little "shouty", but I prefer them that way. It's better than hearing him sound hesitant (pre-2003 IMO) or nasally (now).

Thanks for posting this, by the way!

The girl arguing with the camera guy during the encore is really annoying. Just constant swearing. Then her boyfriend jumps in with "can I see your credentials?". Gimme a break, just enjoy the show creeps.

I've got a nice audio surprise for everyone! Interpol live in Amsterdam 2010! Soundboard recording. The audio was ripped from the DVD of the concert (credits for the DVD state "dvd authoring by ridleybradout"). This is a great show and features only one of two soundboard recordings available from this tour of "Try It On" (The other being from the KEXP broadcast). This also has my favorite live version of "The Lighthouse". Please enjoy!

Download here!

UH, Paul's voice was not so great at that HMH show
A better choice would have been the 2011 Rock am Ring full concert or the Rock en Seine, his voice was much better there.
But this will do. :)

Ah! One of my favorite shows! Thank you so much :D The versions of Narc, Lights, RMC, and Heinrich are superb in this one in particular, although Paul's voice is a little road-worn here...
