How about people chill out about someone posting a, "new album" thread here? There may have already been one already started, but there wasn't one in "General Discussion" and I didn't know about the other one until I saw the locked one here. Not everyone visits the, "Articles" section. Possible solution would be to link that thread here so that people see it and don't start another one.

Unfortunately, people generally don't bother using their eyes or their heads before posting.

Meh. I used both but I had never visited the articles section before so I will reiterate I had no idea there was already a thread. And if it was true that more than a few similar threads in General Discussion were deleted previously (as stated in the as of yet un-deleted thread) I sense that I am not alone in that department. Therefore, perhaps it's a bit unnecessary to act as if a crime were committed nor condescendingly assume someone didn't "bother using their eyes or their heads".

btw - thankfully I didn't start one myself or I too might have been shunned. :)

No one is shunning anyone.
For me, it's just a simply way to look up some old thread. Thought it might also help alot of other people. I try to update it when I feel like it, so it's just an easy way to look something up.
If it's not helpfull for you, just don't complain. Noone will be banned for making a double thread :lol:
