I tend to change it all a little - make it a little fancier and add things. Especially Crimewaves. I play a nice jazz grove in the chorus. I also add some snare at the end of Lights.

I'm not going to lie, I don't think that Sam is a technically brilliant drummer, however his drum beats are so imaginative and have such great feeling that this doesn't matter one bit. He also is able to build up a beat in a way no other drummers can do, like in Lights. I'll take Sam's feeling over Neil Peart's stick acrobatics any day haha :P

I think that's what makes drumming to Interpol so so fun.

Exactly - you're spot on there. :)
But, I don't think he gets to display how good he really is when playing with Interpol.

Yes, I love PDA - I really go for it at the end of the song. :D

Obstacle 1 is by far his most "complete" drum track, along with a number of others on TOTBL. He and the rest of the band settled into their style on Antics though.
