If you had any doubts, this hopefully clarifies any misconceptions. Here is something Mod1 once showed me on another forum. It is the blueprint on how i moderate.
I feel that the other moderators follow a similar guideline.

Have patience and an open mind. The world is a great big place, and not all people will be like you. You might want to keep in mind that such things as sarcasm are often lost over the internet.
As far as profanity is concerned, feel free to express yourself with any mode of language you feel necessary. Keep in mind though, that a whole post of swearing may make you look like a 5 year old who just learned some new words. There are often other equally effective ways to make your point. Common Sense....
When posting, please try to keep things in their proper place.
Try not to start duplicate threads. If there are more than one thread pertaining to the same topic, one will most likely be deleted or closed. If you're asking a question, try scaning through the first few pages- there is a good chance that someone else has already asked it or even answered it.
When replying to someone else, take the time to understand what it is your replying to. All too often people skip over whole paragraphs and responses, or completely miss the point.
Do not be a Troll!
Trolls are people who post or reply to threads for the sheer point of being annoying or causing a disruption.
Do not be a sockpuppet or sock?
Socks are alias's, or in other words, a username someone posts under other than their normal posting name. However, simply switching names is not considered a "sock", but, switching back and forth....IS.
And finally, above all else, keep the vibe around here on the positive side. Make your best attempt to respect the people around you, and keep the p-vibes flowin.
