It looks like Paul's wearing Daniel's shirt from the Tarquin Studios recording session. Very very similar...hmm. Sam used to share his clothes with Blasco. I wonder if Paul and Daniel ever swapped items?

Tough call on the cardigan/waistcoat question. I know he wears waistcoats a lot--the complete suit getup, but I think he also has a cardigan/cardigans. The only picture out of these where I think it looks definitively like he's wearing a cardigan is this one:

It's totally a fine cardigan. If you look back over those photos they're all taken on the same day. Sam and Dan are wearing the same thing in every photo. Paul has just taken a long a few different shirts to wear. Also there's similar pics of Dan without his jacket on and he's wearing a cardigan. Notice the way the neck line warps/bends across his chest, the overall flexibility of the material and the border along the edges. I often wear cardigans with my suits instead of waistcoats for comfort and flexibility. And I noticed Dan originally used to wear fine V-Neck sweaters before moving on to this phrase. I don't think I've ever seen him wear a proper waistcoat except for the studio picks from 'Interpol'. The first publicity photo sans-Carlos. I'm willing to bet serious money on this.

Edit: I must admit I love scrutinizing their clothing, hence how I came to my conclusion. Here's a photo from when Dan started wearing fine knit sweaters with his suits.
