I just re-read our posts as well. My god, we sound airheaded - "duck and plum sauce power!"???   - but as you said, people should take into account the fact that it WAS very very late here at the time... :P I just watched the whole thing over again today and I'm all curious as to what book Paul had with him. It was pretty thick and I noticed he folded the corner of the page to bookmark it... That's all really trivial in the vein of "what does it say on Paul's hat?" but oh well...

My favourite moments were Paul looking through the book whilst Carlos was talking, and when Daniel was sitting there with his eyes shut for so long that you'd think he was sleeping (which he may well have been), again whilst Carlos was babbling on. :P You'd have thought Daniel would've just left the couch and gone walkies like Sam did instead of just sitting beside falling asleep beside Carlos.

I watched a little bit just before... I think the book Paul had might have been the book of clips that they could choose from, Dan mentions it later. Looks too big to be a novel or anything. And I was curious about Paul's hat OK *blushes*...

My favourite moment was Carlos doing anything, that guy is hilarious (although reading over this thread I did threaten to stab him, and shake my fist at him a few times... Sorry Carlos, all is forgiven)

I think the fist shaking alliance goes in the same airheaded category as duck and plum sauce power. But I'm still so a member!

I totally think the curiosity about Paul's hat is warranted! Don't worry! That makes sense about the book of song choices. I remember from the sound of the page turning that it sounded spiral bound... I should join CSI. :P

I can't remember exactly which song he was introducing (maybe Spoon??), but Daniel was saying something like "four months" and I noticed he didn't say "fourrrrr" and emphasise the R. I totally thought he sounded Australian for that one word...

Long live the Fist Shaking Alliance! ^_^

the prevalence of Synola and Chris Cunningham clips makes me hope they utilise either posse's collective talents with a video off album #3.

^ I don't think it was actually serious ignoring, more the way that you ignore your siblings or something. The band spend most of their time together, and they're probably tired of TV appearances, and I don't think that listening to each other talk about music is a new and exciting experience for them... Take that into account.

Yeah i took that into account
I'm not sure but weren't they also on the tail end of a long tour?
Usually the way with international acts coming here
If so that would obviously have a bit to do with it
I guess the main reason i said that was Carlos,he seemed the odd one out, seemed to be sort of rolling his eyes at Sam,like yeah you're old noone cares about what you say
Lol
And the others particularly Daniel seemed a bit over him
Now i have never really followed the goings on of the band, read interviews or anything like that, just enjoyed their music and left it at that so i don't know much about how they have gotten along all this time, was just my observation from what i saw of them the first time i've seen any video of them outside of a performance

Well I agree whole-heartedly that if Carlos doesn't make his audition to replace Bob Barker on PIR, then he should definitely try out for being a veejay. However, I wonder what was in that catalogue Paul was thumbing thru...that was really the best part of that intro ^_^ .

Funny.. out of all of these, the one which draws more attention to me was "Wicked Game - CHRIS ISAAK".. and it had sure drawn attention to paul even in that time. I bet he chose this one not for the song itself but for the video iykwim. :P
