tycho. A couple months ago I was listening to pandora, and came across one of their songs, and again while listening to pandora I came across Hours, and after hearing two great songs, I listened to the whole album and fell in love. This is my favorite song from their album Dive (2011)

I probably played "Dive" 10 times in a row the first time I heard the song.

I recently discovered this amazing band called Boom Said Thunder, who remind me heavily of The Big Sleep like WHOA.

Don't quite know how I missed these guys the first time around but Codeine are utterly, fucking beguiling.

Ter, how you doin' chief?

Ain't that something! You like them too? I heard Kitchen Light on a radio show over here and was bowled over by it, cue further investigation of their music and backstory. They appear to be making a comeback of sorts.

^Cragster, I'm afraid the comeback is already kind of over. They played some shows this year and finally the box set with all their remastered albums was released. If you have the chance to buy one - go for it!
I was lucky enough to see them at the IBYM and in Berlin, they were amazing! And super nice guys. One of them took a break from his teaching job to tour this year.

Hi Rose

Looks like I've blown it with regard to catching them live, then! I checked out that box set, nice tip. I'll put it on the Xmas wish list. Thanks.

Andy Burrows. Ex-Razorlight (drummer). He made a Christmas album last year with Tom Smith of Editors.
He opened for Muse in Antwerp. I listened to his album later on and I like it very much.

I've only recently let myself delve into the xx. I just saw them live this week. I can officially say I'm hooked.
