Just name a band you've discovered recently (in the past year or so..) and describe them a little. Maybe your's will find it's way to someone else's computer..

Akron/Family - beautiful. find them
The Remote Viewer (ty sc) - oh, so lovely beats
Bibio (again, ty) - really great, hard for me to describe
Max Richter (ty ka & sc) - Neo-classical. My top is blown
The Dead Texan (ty ka) - beautiful ambience
Something For Rockets - peaceful indie pop, great beats

Maximo Park!!!
Check the thread about them.

Ah! And Dredg. Good sound, and vibe. Mellow melodies, recalling the '80s a little.

I just got my A Perfect Circle cd Mer de Noms back again, and its not as heavy as Tool like some think. Its one of those cds that I can cry to or just fall into. Just as another side note I think the Maynard(guy who writes lyrics for tool and APC) writes some of the best lyrics ever.

Blood On The Wall. I know they were recommended by pitchfork today, but don't hold that against them. They are actually good.

Hanne Hukkleberg- her name is hokey and her voice (and music) is breathtaking, Boduf Songs, and the Velvet Teen has also got me reeling as well.
