Noone might even end up being at the hostel until the extreme early hours, depending on how things go. However, you do have to confirm booking by calling up so at least that can be achieved in one go!

Hmm, I don't know. We are driving from Dresden, so I suppose sometime in the afternoon. Can't tell you a more precise time...

So you'll be in Dresden as well? Surely we'll bump into each other. As it looks it seems like the same people are going to all the gigs anyway. *g*

everyone going to dresden: it would be great if you could casually let the band know about our little after party in stuttgart - as they're touring, we've been unable to contact them or their management. thanks in advance - i guess that's in everybody's interest :)

Mhhh, in Luxembourg, they played Slow Hands at some points, and Sam was outside...They don't like it when their songs are played in parties!

They hate it, Daniel ones says it´s like you´re 5 years old and your mother show a painting of you....

We went yeasterday to the Schocken again, to dicuss the details with the very busy manager, and i´d ask if it wiould be possible to play our own mix tapes on that night, and it would be alright, she just had to listen to it before...

So is it alright for everyone to meet at 4.30 at the schocken, or at 4.00 in the train station (infront of the Mc Donalds)?
So if anyone wants to do mix tapes you can gave it to her....

the only problem is that Interpol (if they come), don´t have a private room to stay, they could to be upstairs but I think they would be pissed off, right?!

sounds great! i don't mind if we meet at the central station or at schocken, but meeting at the central station might make things easier for people coming from far away.. me included.
what is music like at schocken normally? i mean, if they play decent stuff anyway, we don't need to bring music ourselves. even if music is shite there, the manager might still be very convinced about it and probably wouldn't accept whatever we bring along...
20 € instead of 60? that's good news indeed. we'll all pay your a drink for your exemplary organisation work, so that loss of 20€ will be compensated :D

That's no problem. They don't always have a private area at the afterparties and they don't seem to mind.

Sorry guys, my internet connection was down for a couple of days, and so I couldn’t log in. And what a nightmare it was – I had absolutely no idea I had become so addicted to this board, I went all cold turkey. I know, I must get help, and then again no, no, no, I don’t want to get clean, no, I want MORE! Yeah, ok, me and my bad humour. You sure must’ve missed me alright...

But, to finally get to the point, are our plans now clear and settled? Before-the-gig-meeting at 4 at the railway station, and what was it, in front of McDonalds? And then to Schocken for drinks and such (by the way, is it possible for one to eat something in Schoken or is it drinks only kind of place?) and together to the concert venue and then the afterparty and then whatever comes next. I’m just asking because my computer is still in this very annoyed mood (we kinda have some trust issues right now, me and my computer) and I can’t rely on it to work tomorrow and on Monday I’ll be on my way to Germany. (YAY!) I want to make it 100% sure I’ll be in the right place at the right time.

Can anybody explain to me how to get to the Schokken after the gig? I somehow I fear my friend and I won't make the meet up in the afternoon but we'd still like to find the club after the gig. Any pointers?

Is the shocken so far from the venue and from the city?!

isn't it better to let the usual dj of the place play his own discs?! I mean it's not a criticism...

now, i talked to a girl who hangs around with them and told me that it's not the kind of events interpol would attend...in the sense that they like to go to a place spontaneously, and if there is something to organize the boys would rather do it themsleves...
Plus if the place is full of fans, they'd rather go to a place with casual people in a random bar...

Yeah, well… i guess it depends on the general mood and circumstances, ‘cause as lamestein said usually the band is quite easy with hanging around. In HH p.e. the aftershow-party was a ‘regular’ one, meaning it was annunced in the flyer from that club and the whole band and stayed till late. I think we shall wait and see what happens. Ans as some have or had the luck to have contact with someone from the band or crew past the last couple of shows, i think we will definetely find out one way or the other where something’s going on, even if it’s not the schocken (though it would be nice! I’m already picking CDs! : )) Just in case... - But actually i think it’s cool to keep it small and cozy and not to trompete around where everyone is going if we should know...

B U T : what about meeing at 11 in stuttgart for breakfast? Let’s just say central station?!? I am sure we can find a nice little place around there somewhere. But where to meet at the station? Is there something ‘unmissable’ (hello locals!!) !???
