Yeah, me too. I love those prepubescent lyrics, and the beat of it is awesome. In general most of the songs have a hip-hop like beat in the background. Don't know how to express it properly, but it feels to me like that (and that's kinda cool)

Heh, depends whether you're comparing it to OLTA or TOTBL. ;)
I'm one of the rare fans that prefers OLTA to TOTBL. TOTBL is what drew me to the band and "Leif Erikson" remains my favorite song, but I get much more enjoyment out of OLTA as a whole. If I include the Julian Plenti album I guess I would rank the albums as follows:
1. Antics
2. Julian Plenti is...Skyscraper
3. Our Love to Admire
4. Turn on the Bright Lights
I've listened to the iTunes preview, but haven't heard the new album in it's entirety so I won't include it, but I suspect it could debut at #1.

After reading the posts on this topic it looks like I really missed out by not going to a live show :( :(
You definitely missed something!
Considering that Paul looked like a college boy when Interpol appeared on the scene, I still find it amazing, that this shy guy performed ALONE even before Interpol and wrote some of that beautiful songs back then. I have a lot of respect for him and am really happy, that he shared this stuff on that intimate little club tour. Though I felt a little disappointed, that later in the tour he wasn't as communicative as he seemed to be in Seattle. But still soooo cooool (remembering the "London incident")
Great guy! (did I alread mention that?! )
